The piece is born from the musical representation of Methionine, an amino acid that starts off DNA sequencing. The 5 elements in the chemical formula (C₅H₁₁NO₂S) are transformed into 5 sound objects, each one being a consequence of an action/object in the piano: plastic card/wood, marbles, neodymium magnets, Patafix, and hand percussion.

Through a careful timbrical work, these sonorities are translated in the other instruments, moving from mathematical precision to spatial notation in order to create a fluctuant state of hearing.
